Directions to the Green River Ferry
Each tour begins at the Green River Ferry located near the Mammoth Cave Visitors Center. The road to the ferry can be located on the interactive map link below. Please check start times on the Tour Schedule page.
From North I-65: Take Interstate 65 to Exit 53 (Cave City Exit). Turn right onto KY-70. Follow 70/255 as it becomes the Mammoth Cave Parkway in the park. Follow the Mammoth Cave Parkway toward the Visitor Center. Before reaching the visitor center, look for a sign for Maple Springs Campground & Green River Ferry. Turn left and follow to the Green River Ferry. Park in the ferry lot.
From South I-65: Take Interstate 65 to Exit 48 (Park City Exit). Turn left onto KY-255 and follow 255 as it becomes the Park City Road into the park. Follow Park City Road until it joins the Mammoth Cave Parkway; turn left. Follow the Mammoth Cave Parkway toward the Visitor Center. Before reaching the visitor center, look for a sign for Maple Springs Campground & Green River Ferry. Turn left and follow to the Green River Ferry. Park in the ferry lot.
