Meet the guides
A chance meeting one day at the Green River Ferry led to the friendship of two kayakers. These kindred spirits decided to partner up in the sport of kayaking because of safety first, adventure second. They each learned that both of them would kayak in just about any body of water large enough to put a boat in and thus began the beginning of KY River Runners. On many of their paddles, they would invite family and friends to accompany them so they could also enjoy the beautiful scenery and sport that each of them love. This led to the idea that others would love to try kayaking with the benefit of experienced paddlers to teach them safely and securely.
Dan McMillin - Dan is the president of KY River Runners and 
is one of the two founding members of the company. He grew up around the rivers and creeks and developed a love of paddling at an early age. Dan is currently pursuing his Swiftwater Rescue certification and can be reached via email by clicking here.
Rob Brumley - Rob is the vice 
president of KY River Runners and is an avid camper, hiker, and paddler. He was raised on a farm in Daviess County that just happened to be bordered on one side by Panther Creek. This closeness to the water gave him his lifelong passion for canoeing and kayaking and ultimately led to this pursuit. Rob is certified in CPR and First Aid and you can email him here.
